Job Description:
A Stock & Purchasing is responsible for ensuring that the company’s stock levels meet business needs. They do this by overseeing purchases and pricing reports, replenishing levels when necessary, and monitoring shipments or internal transfers between departments within one business enterprise.
Responsibilities of the job include:
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
- Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases
- Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed
- Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items
- Evaluate suppliers’ offers and negotiate profitable deals
- Coordinate regular inventory audits
- Keep updated inventory records (including daily shipments)
- Ensure purchases do not exceed budget
Requirements and skills
- Fresh graduated are encourage to apply
- 1 or more year of Work experience in Stock & Purchasing is a plus
- Be able to use MS Word, MS Excel (skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Flexible and be able to work as a team.
- Must have own transportation.
